This page explains what data is processed when you visit kastideo.com, then what the Kastideo app sends, and to whom.

Who is responsible

The site is published on a non-professional basis by its author (see the legal notice). For any question about your data: contact@kastideo.com.

What the site processes

• Visit statistics. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a free tool that counts visits (page views, country, browser type). According to Cloudflare, it uses neither cookies nor local storage to measure audience and does not try to identify visitors individually.
• Host logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To serve and protect the pages, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses, like any web host.
• Chosen language. Your choice of French or English is saved in your browser, on your device. It is never sent to the site.
• Fonts. Fonts are hosted on the site itself. No request is sent to Google Fonts.
• Emails. If you write to contact@kastideo.com, your message is used only to reply to you and is not shared.

The site does not deliberately set any tracking or advertising cookie.

Links to other services

Download and issue buttons lead to GitHub, the support button leads to Ko-fi, and movie details use TMDB. These services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

The Kastideo app

• Your credentials (IPTV subscription, servers, keys) are kept on your device, in the system's secure store. They are sent only to the services you configure: your provider, your servers, TMDB for movie details if you enter a key, YouTube with your own Google key.
• Kastideo does not collect usage statistics and has no user account.
• To look for updates, the app contacts GitHub. GitHub then sees your IP address, as with any download from GitHub.
• YouTube videos are played with YouTube's official player, in enhanced privacy mode. YouTube then receives data according to its own policy.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of its processing, or object to it. Write to contact@kastideo.com. You can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.

This page may change, for example when a site feature changes. The update date appears at the top of the page.
